I have made it home after a weekend of death and duty. It was strange to be at a funeral where I didn't really care about the person that had passed. I had only met him three times and I didn't actually like him very much at all. It was still all very sad, and I ended up crying because I watched people I care about cry. I had to leave the room when his widow bent over to kiss him for the last time. I thought my heart would burst with pain for her.
Brian is on crutches again. He hurt his knee the day before the services were to start and he was supposed to be a pallbearer. He believes he will have to have surgery again. This will make it the fourth surgery on this knee and he will be unable to do much for about five or six months.

Glad to see you're doing this! Sorry your weekend was 'ugh'!
You have got to be kidding me that Brian is injured again -- what the HELL was he doing?! Just in time for baby, huh? He has amazing timing....
Amber so you finally had time to do the Blog thing. Welcome to the club! Anyways I had called you before you changed your phone # and left a message but you probably never got it. One of the reasons I called is that I had a dream that someone had died and you were feeling sad about it. Weird.
