Dirt under my fingernails

My computer is infected with viruses and spyware and I can't get the damn thing to work. I have tried for days to fix it and I might be finally giving up. I may throw it out of the window.

Anyway, I planted flowers this past weekend. It was the first time I have ever planted anything and I was very excited. I am sure that I looked funny sitting in the dirt with my eight and a half month pregnant belly sticking out from under my tank top. Many people stopped to chat with me as they were walking down our sidewalk.

There are moments that I experience that really make me feel like an adult and planting flowers was definitely one of those moments. After I was done, I was so proud of myself that I have stopped to admire my work every time I leave and come home. Brian and I worked in the yard for hours that day and it just felt like we were so old. I know that may seem silly, but I mean it as a good thing. I enjoyed our day and now our front yard doesn't look like white trash live in the house!

I want to write something really thoughtful and meaningful today on this blog but I just finished a very long story, and after my rough morning with Madeline I don't have much thought left in my head.

I went to the doctor yesterday and I am a centimeter dialated. Good news! Hopefully that means this baby will continue to get things ready and get out of my belly. I waddle like a penguin and I look like a Weeble.
